While the endless entertainment in the Berkshires is inviting, there is nothing quite like a day spent connecting with Mother Nature. The Berkshires is one of Massachusetts’s most beautiful regions, abounding with numerous mountains and valleys to explore. One of the best places near our inn for a full day in the outdoors is Pleasant Valley Sanctuary. This lovely natural wonderland lies on more than 1,000 lush acres and is home to several plant and animal species protected by Mass Audubon Society. If you’re searching for a nearby place to hike, view wildlife, and take in the beauty of nature, you’ll hardly do better than this incredible sanctuary.
